Hi, I’m Kim! 

I’ve been behind the chair for 19 years, and I still love what I do just as much as when I started. For me, hairstyling has always been about so much more than hair. It’s about helping people feel confident, creating a space where they can relax, and building relationships that last for years. Some of my favorite conversations have happened with clients in my chair, and I’m incredibly grateful for the friendships this career has given me.

I specialize in all things color, blonding, fashion color, dimensional, short haired perms, and precision haircuts, but my passion is creating hair that’s beautiful, wearable, and uniquely you. I believe every appointment should feel comfortable, collaborative, and a little fun. Whether you’re ready for a big transformation or just need a refresh, I’m here to listen, offer honest guidance, and help you achieve a look that fits your lifestyle.

When I’m not at the salon, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, exploring the Oregon coast, camping, paddle boarding, snowboarding, listening to music, hanging with my dog Blaze or dreaming up new ideas for Soul Strand Hair Studio. My hope is that every guest who sits in my chair leaves feeling refreshed, confident, and like they’ve found a stylist they’ll look forward to seeing again.
